Santos de Cartier
The first modern watch specifically designed to be worn on the wrist, the Santos de Cartier was designed in 1904 by Louis Cartier for his friend, the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, so that he could tell the time while flying.

A design icon
A square case with rounded corners and visible screws: the design of the Santos de Cartier watch cultivated codes that became an aesthetic signature of the Maison's watchmaking.
Universal style
For him and for her, the iconic watch is offered by Cartier in many different variations, from the smallest to the largest.

Small model
The new Santos de Cartier watch cultivates the same design principles on a smaller scale: clean lines, precise proportions, and attention to detail.
A quest for performance and innovation
The Santos de Cartier watch is equipped with the automatic calibre 1847 MC, whose design defies the quest for performance and innovation, offering water resistance up to 10 bar (~100 metres), chronometric precision that meets the highest quality standards, and protection against the effects of everyday magnetism up to 1500 Gauss.
